讀畢鹿鼎記－大喜

近二千頁共五冊的章回小說，金庸的《鹿鼎記》，前後花了五個月的時間把它看完了。對於別個讀者來說，閱讀一本長篇小說並沒啥大不了，尤其是被譽為凡華人皆曉的金庸名著就不在話下。然而是個閱讀初哥的我，這可是一項大工程，起步還真是緩慢，個多兩個月才讀完第一冊，不過漸漸便能拾起步伐，且深深受故事情節所吸引著，每每遇到有一種欲罷不能的感覺，在看第五冊的時侯只花了不到一星期便一口氣看到結局，極為痛快。

肚內沒半點文學修養，談不上去評論別人文筆，而且還未看過金庸其他的武俠小說，也不能作任何比較。即使單單從《鹿鼎記》一書而言，也足以令敬佩查先生的才華，書中有來自不同背景階層的人物角色，他們的語氣、談吐、行徑等都很切合各自的心態，令情節倍感說服力。貴為主角的韋小寶，便見作者花了大大的心機，他的奇遇故然引人入勝，他的隨機應變的急才更叫人嘖嘖稱奇，雖有少許跨張，卻循情理而行，皆從他以前的經歷或是從前聽說書學來的故事來反應，致使目不識丁的他也事事仍可解決，韋氏的聰明即顯金庸自身的絕頂聰明，深深拜服。

金庸稱此書為歷史小說，有別於他從前的武俠小說，雖然這麼說，文中還留下不少武俠痕跡，不過主線還是以清康熙朝的史事為骨幹，再塑造出韋小寶這個市井的角色以多重身份穿插多群利害相關的組織，更成為康熙的大心腹，一件件史實事件都由他完成，這種仿真的歷史小說真叫人著迷，哪怕再難尋另一佳作如此。

說到底，我很喜歡此書，尤其喜歡韋小寶的急智，還有他的事物的體會和見微知著觀人於微的功夫，心想將來會從頭再看一遍，還要看最新版中的修訂。

《隔世追兇》

電視正重播著數年前的一輯電視劇《隔世追兇》，平心而論，這是一齣很是出色的電視製作，故事中「隔世」聯繫的概念可能源自一套名為《Frequency》的西片，又或是台灣另一套叫做《愛‧斷了線》的電影，請不要誤會隔世追兇就是一套抄襲的電視劇，它只是借隔世溝通為題，故事內容盡是新作的，更是上乘的。故事充滿推理情節，疑案接二連三，線索更須從二十年前尋找，偵輯之餘更強調主角父子之間的溝通、感情、誤會。情節感強烈之餘，選角更為一流，郭晉安的天光神探、商天鵝的法証、許紹雄的大河Sir，他們的角色充滿說服力感染力。劇情發展亦無拖泥帶水，也不是虎頭蛇尾，結局安排有點玄，但卻是完完整整。若然您還未看，不妨一看，當會喜出望外。

鹿鼎記讓我閱讀的興致大增

從前認為要我去讀一本長篇小說是一件妙想天開的事情，怎生能發生在我的身上，直至五個月前決定讀金庸的《鹿鼎記》，那時還在懷疑要多久才可以讀完，甚至想到能否真的把它讀完一遍，如今已讀過了八九成，書癮正濃，今天一口氣讀了百多頁，趣味盎然。

這股閱書興致並不限於鹿鼎記一書，當我還未借到第五冊書的那個多星期也書癮發作，一時停不了又先找來另一本書來看，直到我把書借到手已把另一本談夢的書讀了一半，然暫且讓路，還先看完鹿鼎記才回頭看那書。讓自己培養出這閱讀的習慣與興趣真是件美事，我誠意鼓勵年青多閱讀，並早養成閱讀習慣，最好的更是中英文書刋也看一番，開卷真確是有益的的。

《至情至聖》

重播的《齊天大聖孫悟空》剛巧今晚播完了，不提劇情，我倒想說我喜愛此劇的片尾曲《至情至聖》，跟個人經歷無關，只是其典詞風格真能顯出大情大性的感覺，不像是現代的流行曲。別人未必會認同，我卻欣賞它對感情留彌之痴狂。

Ref: Top Critics Choice Awards Go to 'The Departed'

Infernal Affairs is one of my favorite movies featuring the best casting. The state-of-the-art story with tense and interlocked plots about cover-ups and double-identities caught high attention from the Hollywood big stakeholders. The Departed has its script adapted into a set with a Boston Police and a gangster. I wish I had watched The Departed to make better comments about the adaptation. It sounds to be a great movie despite Hong Kong would hold a prejudice. Now, Martin Scorsese's The Departed has been selected by the Broadcast Film Critics Association to receive its best picture Critics Choice award. The award arouses more my motives to watch this movie when I will get the DVD.

Dreamy

I bought the book "Secrets of Dreams" when I visited the university bookstore last month. I have read half of the book in 2 weeks. Friends asked me about the dream interpretations. However, the first half of the book covered the history about the study of dreams, and how dream worked. The book was not difficult to read and it contained no jargons. It taught you about dreams from many aspects and from simple to depth, and in a very digestible way.

Human learnt so little about dreams. Several major schools of thoughts have been developed, in quite opposite directions. The true face of dreams have not been revealed. The book, however, gave me very inspirational insights about the possible power of dreams. I had no idea why but I had very few dreams in the past decade, only dreamt once or twice a year. This week, on the other hand, I followed the tips from the book and managed to make dreams every night. It's sort of a miracle. Just telling yourself to prepare dreaming before your bedtime would be all you needed to do. I enjoyed dreaming. Dreams gave me extra dimension about life.

[Casino Royale]《新鐵金剛智破皇家賭場》

What a shame to a movie lover who goes to the cinema so infrequently. For some reasons, I get far less often to go movies. From another aspect, there are fewer must-watch movies produced these few years. Today I got my nerves up and paid a visit to the cinema alone to Casino Royale. I am much a James Bond fan in heart, and do not wanna miss movies from this decades lasting series.

Casion Royale is also codenamed as "James Bond 21" because its the 21st James Bond movie. Daniel Craig was named after Pierce Brosnan. This casting have become a hot topic in the community questioning the qualification for this Bond. After enjoying the 2 hours full of story plots, I would say Daniel Craig did the job right. He's not impressive nor stardom at the moment as James Bond, but he shows no flaws at the same time. I would expect a better appearance and performance from him in the next Bond movie.

Returning to the movie, the stunts and the directorship are all excellent. The free-runner scene at the beginning of the movie is particularly impressive. A typical demostration of high pressure without use of computer graphics. The love plot line and the several fatal threats make Bond a real human, with flesh and heart but not gadgets. The plot of poker tournament in private casino is intriguing, and which well explains the ability of observe and comprehension. Worth to mention, Eve Green the Bond girl plays an outstanding role. She demostrates good charm with cold-outside-but-warm-inside, which good enough to set James Bond up with the bitter threat at the end.

Thank Martin Campell, the director, to bring us this brand new James Bond movie, good weaving of plotlines and excellent camera shooting. I would recommend Casino Royale even if you are not a hardcore Bond fan.

漏網之書

去年年尾稍為查看一下自己的閱讀記錄，發現了一本看了大半卻沒有完成的書《能言善道說巧話》，正值剛看完了鹿鼎記第四冊，還沒有借到第五冊之時，也就續看這未完的書，今天晚飯的時候便把它讀完了。

從書名已可得知此書是關於說話技巧的，其中並無深奧的道理，不過內容編排頗有條理，步驟清晰，易於閱讀，對話中普遍出現的對話困難情況都有所分析並提供對應的方案，閒時一讀無妨，然此書絕不是令你口才了得的天書。

這兩年來所買所閱讀過的書我都予以記錄，看來是種愚笨的行徑，不過還確是有用的，一來可以使我的閱讀計劃量化並持之以恆，二來讓來找尋漏網之魚，把它們讀完。

笋炒肉

在看鹿鼎記的過程中，總會學到一些新的詞彙，最近讀到的一個頗為特別，印象猷新，文中韋小寶在楊州跟母親的對話中出現「笋炒肉」，聽來是一道菜，實為北方語中責打兒子的說話，即用毛竹板打屁股是也，倒跟廣州話中的「藤條炆豬肉」相近，似乎從前母親多為炊婦，連教子的話語也要跟炊事相關。

《鹿鼎記》- 四冊了

原來這個閱讀長篇小說鹿鼎記的大計已實行了有三個多月了，剛看完了第四冊，四十回共一千五百多頁，還剩下一冊未讀吧，算是比想像中的快，下次到圖書館的時候定把第五冊借回來完成它。

打從心底裡佩服韋小寶的機敏，也就是讚嘆金庸的才智，一個接一個有趣的情節，再看著韋小寶巧妙的逐一解決，還時刻想著他是個目不識丁的小子，然而他的辦法卻不乏說服力，的確引人入勝。故事漸入尾聲，各路人馬開始不時碰面，韋小寶周旋其中必更有趣，亦更為難。

除了主角韋小寶，這天還看到有個角色也是別出心裁的，第三十九回中在楊州的布政司慕天顏的說話，就跟別個角色大不相同，是高明的官腔，看他如何拯救楊州禪智寺的芍藥圃，又如何譏諷知府吳之榮。他也是個聰明人，早已洞悉康熙派小寶到楊州的用意，真有意思，我就愛看有智謀的人。

Lucas Sets Indiana Jones Shoot Date

Oh Yeah!! Indiana Jones is on the way. No matter what it will be, it's the most anticipated movie to me for 10-some years.

For those who know me well enough will know the fact that I am so wholeheartedly charmed by Indiana Jones. It explains why you would sometimes somewhere see my name as Tony Jones. I did name myself after the movie.

About 20 years ago, I was filled with an adventurous heart inside. I encountered an arcade game which was a very addictive action game in an adventure theme. Shortly afterward, I realized the game was actually published in the same name of the movie, Indiana Jones' Raiders Of The Lost Ark. I missed watching it at cinema, because it was a rather expensive leisure to go cinemas. It was not too bad, as I was able to watch it on TV later. The movie deeply impressed me and it made great influence on me. Starting from that moment, I loved Steven Spielberg more, more than watching Jaws. Harrison Ford became a trademark as a hero to me. Relic hunting and acheology, whip and hat, and Nazi, all were concepts describing a world of thrilling adventures. Indiana Jones became my most favorite character ever. Not to mention there were also the remarkable theme music and the iconic orange-to-yellow-blending typeface.

In 1989, the featuring of Sean Connery as Ford's father in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade created a astonishing worldwide success and sealed the trilogy. My blood was hot and kept anticipating the possibility of the forth Indiana Jones movie.

The three key persons of this movie all became the most influential people in the Hollywood. George Lucas, the writer/producer, is the owner of one of the most valuable franchise, the Star Wars. Steven Spielberg, the director, created the most top selling movies and pushed movie industry a new generation after his Jurassic Park. Harrison Ford started his stardom since his appearance in the Star Wars trilogy. They are all busy celebrities. Planning a schedule for these three guys would be the most difficult problem in Hollywood. There had been ongoing rumors about the making of the 4th Indy movie, but nothing was officially announced. Until these few years in the 21st century, they finally mentioned publicly a solid plan. The most fantastic news today is to hear that its filming will be done in this year.

《鹿鼎記》- 讀罷三十六回了

這幾個月來，閒時便拾起從圖書館借來的《鹿鼎記》閱讀，讀啊讀啊，今天已讀過了其中三十六回，有種停不了的感覺，故事已說到韋小寶誤打誤撞的到了俄羅斯的莫斯科，還幹了一番轟動的事，這段情節是從前看電視劇時來得不夠仔細，現下看小說困真是原汁原味。已來第四冊書的尾聲，尚餘一冊便看完整套鹿鼎記，心裡很是欣賞金庸的才華，還有韋小寶這角色，給我頗多的啟示，容後再談。
